Dr. Irina Poleva graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from "La Sapienza" University in Rome in 1996, focusing her research on vitiligo in her thesis. Subsequently, in 1996.

In 2000, she completed her specialization in Dermatology and Venereology at "La Sapienza" University, dedicating her thesis to recent advancements in HPV infection. During her training, she undertook a placement at the Department of Genitourinary Diseases at St. Thomas' Hospital in London in 1998, deepening her knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Infections.

She also gained international experience, serving as a visiting doctor at the Laboratory of Virology and Immunology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the United States in 1999. There, she studied the transmission mechanisms of Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), with a particular focus on genital herpes under the guidance of Professor Laure Aurelian.

Over the years, she actively participated in numerous national and international congresses as a speaker and key-note speaker, and published articles in international scientific journals. In 2004, she began teaching "Skin and Venereal Diseases" as part of the Physiotherapy H degree at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in Bracciano.

In 2015, she won a competition for a contract professor position at the International Master's in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Camerino, a role she continues to hold.
Since 2014, she has been a certified international trainer for Aptos Thread Lift, a non-surgical method of lifting using absorbable threads.
