Surgical removal of cysts, moles, skin cancer

The surgical removal of skin lesions (moles, cysts, skin cancer) is carried out in local anesthesia. Generally it’s just a small excision with simple suture application. Almost always the histological exam is requested.
Sometimes non surgical removal with laser is possibile for clearly benign lesions.
Remember that the scar is alway remains after the surgery, even if it’d be not so evident. So before deciding to remove a skin lesion, evaluate the real aesthetic advantage you get.
